Where can I try INKLANG speakers?

You have three options:

a) Order with four weeks right of return

You can select, configure and order your INKLANG loudspeaker online. After receiving your speaker, you have a four week return policy. This does not apply to loudspeakers that have been painted according to your individual color specifications as part of our Designers Edition (free choice of color).

b) Hear it in advance at home (trial weekender)

You can borrow the INKLANG loudspeaker of your choice nationwide for a weekend of your choice with our trial weekender. The loudspeaker will always be delivered to you on Fridays and will be picked up the following Monday. The trial weekender is currently available in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. You can find out everything else about the trial weekender here.

c) Visit the showroom in Hamburg

Visit us on your next visit to Hamburg in our showroom in Stilwerk Hamburg. Come spontaneously within our opening hours or with a personal appointment that you can book online here.

d) Meet customers in your region

Are INKLANG speakers offered through hi-fi retailers?

INKLANG supplies its customers directly without the involvement of dealers and distributors. Since the considerable costs for these sales channels are eliminated, the price-performance ratio of our products is fundamentally better.

Amplifier & technology

Which amplifiers fit the passive INKLANG speakers?

There are basically no restrictions on the amplifiers that you can combine with your passive INKLANG loudspeaker. Due to the quality of the speakers, the use of sound-influencing settings such as bass, treble or loudness is not necessary. This allows the amplifier to work linearly and is not challenged disproportionately.

How high should the power of the amplifier be?

The larger the speaker or the larger the room in which it is playing, the more power is required. We recommend the use of stereo amplifiers from a price range of approx. 900 EUR and a power level of 60 watts per channel and more (Surround amplifier from around 2,000 EUR).

There are no upper limits, as the speaker is controlled more and more precisely with increasing power. In particular, there are no distortions / excessive demands on the amplifier, which are dangerous for loudspeakers. Rather, the loudspeaker is guided cleanly to its mechanical load limit, which as such is immediately audible: The membranes of the woofers hit the pole plate of the magnet system, which is audible through a clear knocking, toking sound.


Are the INKLANG loudspeakers suitable for tube amplifiers?

Basically, the performance level of tube amplifiers is rather low due to their technology. Conversely, tube amplifiers are usually combined with loudspeakers that have a high level of efficiency, such as horn loudspeakers. The efficiency is expressed with "dB (1W / 1 m)". However, this value makes no statement about the audiophile quality of a loudspeaker.

In the AYERS series, this value is between 82 and 85 dB (1W / 1 m) in the usual middle segment of the market. This is absolutely unproblematic for the combination with all other amplifier technologies.

Technically, there is nothing to be said against the combination of our loudspeakers with a tube amplifier, but the achievable maximum volumes tend to be limited due to the lower power level in combination with a medium efficiency. As a guide, we recommend a minimum power level of your tube amplifier of 60 watts per channel.

Why do you specify the frequency range at -10 dB and not -3 dB?

It is important to us that the specifications for the frequency range correspond as closely as possible to the practical situation in the living room of our customers. Specifically, the lowest low frequencies, which the loudspeaker generally reproduces more quietly (-10 dB), are almost always boosted or amplified by the installation in the living room.

The value specification with -3dB usually corresponds to the measurement of the frequency range in an anechoic acoustic room or a laboratory situation. This value is also correct, but does not correspond to the reality in a living room, where the speakers are exclusively used by our customers. We have therefore focused on a practical specification of the transmission range for our customers.

HD 10 Stream Connect

Which speakers can I operate wirelessly with the HD 10?

The HD 10 transmits music wirelessly to the active AYERS Wireless speakers from INKLANG. These are the models AYERS One, Two, Three, Four and Five Wireless. The HD 10 sends a digital music signal on its own 5.8 GHz radio network to the speakers without loss. The radio signal also contains the volume information, which the DDFA power amplifiers in the loudspeaker convert accordingly.

Are there quality differences between wireless and wired signal transmission?

No, there are no differences. Due to the purely digital processing structure of the DDFA (Direct Digital Feedback Amplifier) power amplifiers in the AYERS wireless speakers, the digital signal transmission from the HD 10 wireless is not interrupted. The digitally received signal is fed directly into the DSPs and power amplifiers without further conversion and is only converted immediately before the loudspeaker drivers. This is often structured differently with other manufacturers.


Can I operate wireless speakers from other manufacturers with the HD 10?

A wireless signal transmission to wireless speakers of other manufacturers is not possible, since these are implemented differently in the technical design of each manufacturer.

Can I operate active speakers from other manufacturers with the HD 10?

This is possible via cable. The HD 10 offers two coax digital outputs and one analog stereo pre-out. The output (analog and digital) can be volume controlled (variable) or fixed volume (fixed). This can be set in the HD 10's InX app as needed. 

Can I also connect the HD 10 to my existing amplifier?

This is possible via cable. The HD 10 offers two coax digital outputs and one analog stereo pre-out. The output (analog and digital) can be volume controlled (variable) or - useful in conjunction with your amplifier - fixed volume (fixed). This can be set in the HD 10's InX app as needed.

Can I also place the HD 10 in furniture?

Since the HD 10 receives and transmits a lot of data via radio, we generally recommend placing the small device on a piece of furniture. Placing it in an open wooden furniture/shelf also shows good results. Placing it in metal furniture or furniture with a metal frame (e.g. USM-Haller) is difficult. The metal surfaces/framework shield the radio waves and make operation unstable or impossible.

Which streaming services are integrated in the HD 10?

The following streaming services are integrated: TIDAL, Deezer, Qobuz, Deezer and Spotify Connect. In addition, you have free access to worldwide Internet radio as well as podcasts.


Can I play ripped music on a network hard drive?

You can access music on a network disk via your network. For this purpose, the source "Music server" is available in the InX app. If necessary, you must enable the "Media streaming options" on your PC or the network hard drive or activate the "DLNA" function so that the HD 10 can access the hard drive. In addition to accessing via a network hard drive, you can connect a USB flash drive or USB hard drive directly to the HD 10's USB-A port and access it via the InX app.

Can I listen to the radio with the HD 10?

The HD 10 provides free access to worldwide internet radio as well as podcasts. You can save your favorite stations as favorites in the InX app and access them directly.

Can I use Bluetooth?

The HD 10 has a Bluetooth input. Basically, you integrate the HD 10 into your home network (WLAN or wired) and control the device with the integrated streaming services via the InX app or via the Spotify app. All content is sent directly from the router to the HD 10 (so-called network streaming). Bluetooth is used, for example, to play content from tablets and smartphones of friends or children who should not be logged into your WLAN, do not use the InX app or only want to play something briefly.

What devices can I connect to the HD 10?

The following inputs are available for connecting external devices:

  • analog stereo (sensitivity adjustable)
  • 2 x digital inputs (optical and coaxial)
  • HDMI Audio Return for the playback of the TV sound
  • USB-A port for a stick or USB hard drive with music files
  • Bluetooth for pairing with a Bluetooth-enabled device (PC, laptop, smartphone, etc.)
Can I connect a record player to the HD 10?

An additional phono preamplifier is required to connect a turntable. This small additional device, which is partly integrated into turntables, is connected between the turntable and the analog input of the HD 10 Stream Connect.

Does the HD 10 have a tone control for bass and treble?

In addition to the three selectable room EQs on the AYERS Wireless speakers, you can activate the tone control in the menu of the HD 10 via the InX app and adjust bass and treble to taste. This feature is only available in conjunction with the AYERS Wireless speakers, as the sound correction is done in the speakers' DSPs.

AYERS Wireless Speakers

Is wireless operation of the AYERS Wireless Speakers only possible with the HD 10?

Yes, wireless signal transmission to the AYERS Wireless loudspeakers is only possible with the INKLANG HD 10 Stream Connect due to the technical concept. This applies accordingly to the wireless concepts of other loudspeaker manufacturers, as the technical control and signal transmission concepts are implemented differently for each manufacturer.

How far away can the AYERS Wireless speakers be from the HD 10 Stream Connect.

The digital wireless signal is transmitted up to 10 meters when there is a direct line of sight between the speaker and the HD 10. If there is a lightweight wall between the transmitter and the receiving speakers, the max. distance is reduced to 3 - 4 meters. The concrete value depends on the individual installation situation. The InX app shows you the connection quality under "Settings" > "Speakers" after pairing when you tap on the name of the individual speaker.

Can I connect other devices to the AYERS Wireless speakers?

This is possible by cable. Two digital connections (optical/coax) are available on both speakers for this purpose. You can also have the digital signal passed from one speaker to the other. A digital out is available for this purpose. Alternatively, you can also connect an analog preamplifier to the power amplifiers of the speakers. IMPORTANT: All sources that you connect to the power amplifiers must be volume controlled. Otherwise the playback will be at full volume.

Can I stream directly to the AYERS Wireless speakers using Bluetooth?

Due to the technical design, this is not possible. You can use a Bluetooth connection via the HD 10 Stream Connect, which then radios the signal to the two speakers.

Can I connect my TV directly to the AYERS Wireless Speakers?

Due to the technical design, this is basically not possible. You can use your TV via HDMI Audio Return through the HD 10 Stream Connect, which then radios the signal to the speakers.

Analog input: At what signal strength is the max. volume reached?

The analog input of the DDFA power amplifiers is aligned so that the max. volume (0 dB) is reached at approx. 2 Vrms. This can still be attenuated by 3 or 6 dB via the "Level" slide switch, as long as the input signal is louder. If the input signal is clearly too loud, distortions, so-called digital clipping, will occur early on. Check the specifications of the manufacturer of your source device on the strength of the max. output signal at the preamplifier output in advance.

Order & payment

How long is the production time of my speaker?

You can configure your INKLANG loudspeaker in up to 3,480 variants. Therefore, your personal model is only created after you have placed your order. The production or delivery time is between 3 and 4 weeks from receipt of your order.

How do I order my INKLANG speakers?

You can configure your individual INKLANG loudspeaker online in our configurator, add it to the shopping cart and order it. You are also welcome to send us your configuration by phone or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will prepare everything for you.


How do I get my discount for "buy fitting hi-fi"?

If you order INKLANG loudspeakers together with at least one hi-fi device, you will receive a discount on the purchase price of the loudspeakers and the hi-fi device. This will be shown in the shopping cart before completing your order. If you order a hi-fi device without speakers, the package discount does not apply.

How and when do I pay?

With your order we ask you for a down payment of 50% of the purchase price. The second half is due approx. 3 to 4 weeks later when your loudspeakers are ready for dispatch. Payment is made by bank transfer, Sofort-Klarna (if available for country) or PayPal.



How and when do I pay for the HiFi device and speakers package?

If you order loudspeakers and the hi-fi device together in one process, we ask you for a deposit of 50% of the total purchase price. The second half is due approx. 3 to 4 weeks later when your loudspeakers are ready for dispatch. If you purchase a hi-fi device without speakers, we ask that you pay in full with your order. Payment is made by bank transfer, instant transfer (Klarna Sofort) or PayPal.

Do you offer payment in installments?

We currently do not offer such an option. 


Which countries do you deliver to?

INKLANG currently delivers to the following countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein (in CHF with Swiss VAT and taxed), the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium and France. We are happy to supply other countries upon request.

How is the processing for customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein?

Our customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein order and pay for our products in CHF, with Swiss VAT. The delivery is duty paid and taxed. A CHF bank account is available in Switzerland for payment processing. So there are no additional costs or customs clearance costs.

Delivery & return

How do I get my INKLANG speakers delivered?

Depending on the model or weight, delivery takes place via DHL parcel service or freight forwarder.

For delivery by DHL parcel, you will receive a corresponding email confirmation in which you can track the delivery and redirect it if necessary.

In case of delivery by forwarding agency, you will also receive a delivery notification by e-mail. The delivery takes place after the forwarding agency has agreed a delivery date with you by telephone. The loudspeakers are always transported standing on a pallet. The delivery takes place "free curb", that is, up to your property boundary.

How will the delivery take place if I have also ordered hi-fi devices?

The hi-fi devices will be delivered together after your loudspeakers have been completed, approx. 3 to 4 weeks after the order has been placed.

How much are the shipping costs?

From a purchase price of 250.01 EUR/CHF the shipping is free of charge. Up to a purchase price of 250 EUR/CHF the shipping costs depend on the weight of your ordered product. In this case, the shipping costs will be shown in the ordering process before you complete your order and can also be found in our general terms and conditions.

Can I pick up my speakers myself?

In addition to delivery by our logistics partner, you can also pick up your loudspeakers personally from the factory in Hamburg, Germany, if you wish. This can be selected in the online ordering process. We will then coordinate the day and time with you directly.

Are gloves included with the speakers?

So that you can unpack the speakers very gently, every delivery includes cloth gloves.


Is the goods insured when shipping?

The goods are insured against damage in transit. Please check the shipping packaging for any externally visible cracks or deformations before you acknowledge. How long is my right of return?

You can return the products you have ordered to us up to 1 month after delivery. A right of return only exists for products that are undamaged and that you have not subsequently redesigned or converted and only in the original packaging. We recommend that you keep the original packaging at least for the duration of your right of return, but also beyond it if necessary. You can find further regulations regarding your right of return in our general terms and conditions.


Which products do not have a right of return?

The right of withdrawal does not exist for the delivery of goods that have been painted as part of our Designers Edition (free choice of color) according to your individual color specifications, as well as individually assembled speaker cables. Warranty & guarantee

How long is the guarantee on my INKLANG speakers?

We are liable for any defects in the loudspeakers we deliver in accordance with the statutory provisions. In addition to the legal guarantee, we (Company
INKLANG Lautsprecher Manufaktur GmbH, Peutestr. 53 C, 20539 Hamburg, Germany) give you a manufacturer's guarantee on our products under the following regulations:

For transformations on surfaces of our products (e.g. anodized, lacquered or lasered surfaces) as well as for our electronic devices, the warranty period is 3 years from the date of purchase. For the technical function of the speakers, the warranty period is 5 years from the date of purchase. Your invoice is proof of the guarantee.

In addition, there is a bankruptcy-proof guarantee in accordance with the Elektrogesetz at the stiftung elektro-altgeräte register, Nordostpark 72, 90411 Nürnberg, Germany. You can find more information on this in our General Terms and Conditions.

When do I lose my warranty?

The manufacturer's guarantee is void, among other things, in the event of improper mechanical or thermal effects on the goods, in particular on the housing, attachments or loudspeaker chassis, e.g. B. indented membranes or calottes, falling damage and scratches after delivery. Further reasons for the loss of the guarantee claim can be found in our general terms and conditions.

In which countries is the trial weekend offered?

We can currently offer this service for Germany and Austria.


How does delivery / collection take place?

The loudspeakers are delivered to you in a sturdy and rollable case, which can be easily opened by turning / tilting locks. The speakers are in pairs or as a set in the padded cases. The freight forwarder delivers the wheeled suitcase by truck with a lift "free curb", that is, up to your property boundary.


Are different delivery dates possible?

In order to keep logistics and handling costs as low as possible for you, delivery is always on Fridays and collection is always on Mondays. Different dates are therefore not possible.


In what time frame does delivery and collection take place?

The delivery takes place by a freight forwarder/truck on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or pick-up on Monday, also from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Individual time agreements or a telephone announcement are not possible due to cost reasons. Please make sure that someone at the delivery address receives the goods.


Can I extend the loan period?

The planned loan period enables you to test the model of your choice late from Friday to Sunday until it is picked up again on Monday. Experience has shown that this duration is completely sufficient to get a very detailed listening impression and, if necessary, to vary the list. There are no longer loan periods or extension options.


Can I buy the speakers on loan?

The speakers of the trial weekender are used several times and are checked after each loan. The purchase of the rental speakers is not intended, as they are used every weekend.


What are the costs for the trial weekender?

The costs for the trial weekender include the delivery, collection and handling costs. After the speakers have been returned for a trial, we will debit your PayPal account with the specified costs for the trial weekender.

We will reimburse the agreed rental price if you decide to order a new INKLANG speaker. The refund is made by repaying the rental price via the payment service provider PayPal. In this case, the trial weekender remains free of charge for you.

A maximum of one trial weekender is eligible for reimbursement. A combination with other discounts or promotions is not possible.

Rental deposit: Will the rental deposit be debited from my account?

The rental deposit will be held in your account as part of your PayPal authorization and may limit your other available limit for the duration of the authorization. A debit is only made in the event of a claim, in particular if the loudspeaker is not returned or destroyed. Further information can be found in § 6 of our general terms and conditions.


Can I book the trial weekender without a PayPal account?

In order to offer you our service as inexpensively and simply as possible, a booking without a PayPal account is not possible.
