Excellent – the AYERS Two

Audio Test 07/2021: “The sound of the AYERS Two can tend to be described as linear and precise. There are no whitewashers, no dampeners, but loudspeakers with a claim to authenticity and integrity. [...] More mids and transparency instead of loudness. In the heights, this is shown by a fine air band with fascinating precision.

The mids are clearly audible, so that even layered snare drums are split into all levels. [...] The ear hardly gets tired at all. That is the great art. Balanced in the mids, but not too flashy. To be transparent, but not intrusive or aggressive. [...] The basses nevertheless set the important counterpoint, which remains both powerful and inspiring, but also controlled and perfectly formulated. [...]

The two-way system is perfectly tuned all round and rightly deserves the title “particularly audiophile”.
