The difference between the AYERS Five and the AYERS Four lies in the size of the woofers. The AYERS Four is designed for medium-sized rooms from 15 sqm up to a maximum of 40 sqm, while the AYERS Five can comfortably fill rooms over 40 sqm. The sound profile, including the mid-range and high-frequency areas, is identical. Therefore, when making your selection, you can primarily focus on the size of your listening area.
Wireless Version – What is the difference between the passive AYERS Five and the wireless version?
The wireless version of the AYERS Five differs from the passive version in that it has an integrated amplifier and a digital signal processor (DSP). While the wireless version has two amplifier channels for tweeter and woofer and uses a digital crossover, the passive version requires an external amplifier and relies on a classic passive crossover. The "Plus" suffix is found in both passive and wireless versions.

The AYERS Five Passive Plus floor-standing speaker stands freely in the room on its plinth. Due to its bass reflex port being located on the front, it can be placed very close to a wall without suffering bass loss or booming. This makes it very easy to integrate into a living space.
Room Size – What room size is the AYERS Five Passive Plus floor-standing speaker suitable for?
The AYERS Five Passive Plus can comfortably fill rooms from 40 sqm up to 80 sqm with sound. For smaller rooms, we recommend the AYERS Four as an alternative.
Subwoofer – Can I use the AYERS Five Passive Plus in combination with a subwoofer?
This is possible, but not necessarily required due to the AYERS Five's high deep bass performance. It would be beneficial in very large rooms over 60 sqm or as part of a home cinema set.
Home Cinema – Can the AYERS Five Passive Plus be part of a home cinema set?
The AYERS Five Passive Plus can be part of a home cinema set as front speakers. For a complete home cinema set, we recommend adding the AYERS Center and the AYERS Sub. The AYERS Wall or AYERS One, for example, can be used as surround speakers. We would be happy to advise you on your ideal combination.

Some time ago, INKLANG upgraded the passive crossovers at the sound-relevant points with audiophile film capacitors. Since then, the models have carried the "Plus" suffix.

The AYERS Five Passive Plus is delivered as a pair, standing on a half-pallet, via freight forwarding by our partner freight forwarder. Shipping is free within Germany.
